I am not particularly lucky when it comes to giveaways. I
have tried joining a lot of them since the year started and never won anything.
It’s fine really. Joining giveaways is fun and I get to see, read and get inspired
by blogs of other people. But when I really like to win the prizes at stake at
a certain giveaway, I cross my fingers and hope that maybe, just maybe, the
stars would magically collide and make me win. And sometimes, it works!
I was one of the winners of Stef dela Cruz's Berocca giveaway and my
prize arrived the other day. I wasn’t home when it was delivered and I didn’t
have the chance to open it until today.
Berocca is an effervescent tablet that makes a refreshing
orange tasting drink when dissolved in a glass of water. I was really intrigued
about this product because it’s a vitamin that I can actually “drink”. I am the
type of person who really hates meds because I find it really hard to swallow
them. I remember one time when I went to the dentist and she handed me two
capsules of Mefenamic Acid and a glass half-filled with water, I was like, “Are
you trying to kill me?!” lols. Don’t ask me how I managed to swallow them both.

Going back, Berocca helps in maintaining proper function of
the nervous system during periods of stress. Each tablet contains Vitamin B
complex, Vitamin C, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. It does not contain sugar,
caffeine or artificial stimulants. It can be taken daily or as directed by your
doctor!
According to the drug literature that came with my pack of
Berocca, it is normal to have a yellow discoloration of urine after taking this
due to its Vitamin B2 content. Also, people suffering from hemochromatosis,
thalassemia or sideroblastic anemia should not take this product. It is a must
that we read the drug lit before taking any supplements/drugs or if possible,
it is best to consult your doctor first.
I really like the tumbler that is included in my loot bag.
It has a straw! #lols. I always bring water whenever I go to work so this would
be really useful to me.
And the bag? It could serve as my handy dandy lunch box
container. I just don’t know where I would use the nametag so I guess I’ll be
keeping it in my drawer for the meantime.
Have you tried Berocca already? I've seen that it's available at Mercury drugstore for around 180php-ish per pack. :)
i though berocca is some kind of a resort (the word sound so tourist) lol. anyway, im also one of the people who are not that lucky to win with giveaways. maybe i just really have to be as determined as you! :)

ReplyDeleteI love that tumbler and the Berrocca :) I used to swallow all Berocca juice when we were kids and always works well to keep us away from viruses :)
